On this page

What you will accomplish

Listing Hub with Listings, Website and domain, Access and leads, and Appearance navigation.

Short animated UI capture. No audio.

Publish an eligible property listing, verify its public status, and understand which source-document updates synchronize.

Goals

  • Publish to the CREBuilder hub
  • Request external distribution only when intended
  • Keep the public inventory status accurate

Listing control relationship

Sync depends on Listed, while Status describes inventory independently.

  • Eligible completed documentListed on CREBuilder
  • Listed on CREBuilderSync to eligible networksRequired first
  • Listed on CREBuilderPublic inventory Status

Before you start

Data, sources, and access to prepare

  • A completed eligible property document
  • Permission to manage the listing
  • A verified address and transaction type

Prepare these details

  • Complete the property document and address
  • Confirm sale or lease transaction type
  • Choose the intended public Status
  • Decide whether external distribution is authorized

Complete the task

Orient users to listing status, syndication, website, access, and appearance controls.
Listing status and major configuration sections are visible together.
Show how mobile property cards regroup the controls that appear in the desktop listing table.
Property identity, inventory status, visitor access, Listed, Sync, and Deal Room controls are visible in one mobile card.
  1. 1

    Open Listings

    Listing Hub

    Select Listings.

Expected result: The documents eligible for listing management appear.

If this does not happen: Confirm the signed-in workspace if the expected document is absent.

  2. 2

    Find the source document

    Listing Hub > Listings

Search for the intended desktop row or mobile property card.

Expected result: The matching property and transaction display.

If this does not happen: Compare the address, package, and document number when similarly named documents exist.

  3. 3

    Publish on CREBuilder

    Listing row > Listed

    Turn on Listed.

Expected result: The row reports that the property is listed on the CREBuilder hub.

If this does not happen: Resolve any displayed completeness or eligibility message before retrying.

  4. 4

    Inspect the public page

    Listing row > public preview

    Open the public property page.

Expected result: The correct property content loads in a viewer context.

If this does not happen: Return to the source document to correct content before continuing.

  5. 5

    Request external distribution

    Listing row > Sync

Turn on Sync when external distribution is intended.

Expected result: A confirmation or eligibility result appears.

If this does not happen: Read any replacement or same-address warning before confirming the request.

  6. 6

    Set inventory status

    Listing row > Status

Select the one current inventory status.

Expected result: The row and public page show the selected status.

If this does not happen: Confirm the real-world transaction state before changing a terminal status.

  7. 7

    Review processing state

    Listing row

Read the current Sync or network state after the request.

Expected result: The interface reports the latest known result.

If this does not happen: Allow the stated processing time before treating a pending result as failed.

Publication-control reference

Show the published listing and the exact status users verify after syndication.
Published status and public destination are visible.

Flyer labels do not change listing status

Cover Label in Review > Design > Cover Page changes the flyer cover and newly generated PDFs only. Typing Just Sold, Just Leased, New Listing, or For Sublease does not change Listed, Sync, inventory status, public listing badges, or the sale/lease transaction. To retire active inventory, set Listing Hub Status to Sold or Leased. An already listed property remains as past inventory, and Sync stops. External networks remove it after processing the updated feeds. Returning to Active does not automatically re-enable Sync.

Publication-control reference
ControlChangesDoes not do
ListedVisibility on the CREBuilder Listing HubDoes not request external distribution
SyncOne distribution intent for currently eligible networksDoes not turn Listed on
StatusActive, Under Contract, Sold, Leased, or Closed inventory labelDoes not itself publish an unlisted property
Featured starPins featured properties ahead of other properties in the public hubDoes not assign a manual first, second, or third position

Listed is not Sync

A property can appear on the CREBuilder Listing Hub without external distribution. Sync never turns Listed on for you, so publish the property first.

Featured and sorting

Use the Featured star to place a property in the featured group at the top of the public hub. Within featured and other properties, the hub keeps its current sort order. There is no manual rank-order field for assigning every property a fixed position.

Mobile controls are grouped by task

On mobile, the desktop table becomes a property card. Inventory status and visitor access appear first, followed by Listed, Sync, Featured, Confidential, and the Deal Room action.

Verify before you finish

  • The address and transaction match the intended property
  • Listed is on when public CREBuilder visibility is intended
  • Sync reflects the external-distribution decision
  • Status matches the current inventory state
  • The signed-out public page was tested

Troubleshooting and next steps

Show a publication, domain, access, or Deal Room error in its real product context.
The failure state and affected control are visible.
Show the successful publication or access state after correction.
The prior failure is cleared and the intended public or secure state is active.
Sync cannot be enabled.

Likely cause: The property may be unlisted, incomplete, ineligible, duplicated by address and transaction, or outside current network support.

  1. Turn on Listed first.
  2. Read the exact eligibility message.
  3. Correct the source document or resolve the replacement choice.
The property is public on CREBuilder but not on an external network.

Likely cause: Listed and Sync are separate, and external processing is not immediate.

  1. Confirm Sync is on.
  2. Review the current network state after the stated processing period.

Final verification

  • Listing row > public preview: The correct property content loads in a viewer context.
  • Listing row > Sync: A confirmation or eligibility result appears.
  • Listing row > Status: The row and public page show the selected status.
  • Listing row: The interface reports the latest known result.
  • No blocking warning, failed status, or unresolved validation message remains in the completed workflow.
