Export & Publishing
Generate high-quality PDFs, publish properties online with the CRE Listing Hub, embed listings on your website, share documents with your team, and protect sensitive data with confidentiality pages.
PDF Export PRO
Generate print-ready PDFs of your marketing documents
CREBuilder generates high-resolution PDFs using a headless browser engine. Every page of your document is rendered exactly as it appears in the preview, including photos, charts, maps, and formatting. There are two ways to export:
From the Review Page
- 1
Navigate to the Review step in the wizard editor
- 2
Click "Export PDF" in the top header bar
The button appears next to the template swap and page navigation controls.
- 3
Wait 10-30 seconds for generation
A full-screen overlay shows progress while Chromium renders every page.
- 4
PDF downloads automatically
The file saves to your browser's download location with the property name as the filename.
From the Dashboard
- 1
Go to your Dashboard or Documents page
- 2
Click the PDF icon on any document card
Look for the download icon in the action bar below each card.
- 3
Same process runs automatically
A full-screen overlay appears while the PDF generates in the background.
- 4
Download starts when ready
No need to open the document -- export directly from the card.

PDF export typically takes 10-30 seconds depending on the number of pages and images. Documents with large photo galleries or many financial pages may take slightly longer.

Embedding Your Listings
Add your listings to any website with an iframe snippet
CREBuilder provides two embed modes that you can copy-paste into your existing website. Both use an iframe with a PostMessage API for automatic height resizing, property navigation, and link sharing. Any changes to your listings, theme, or colors automatically reflect in the embed -- no code updates needed.

Featured Slider Mode
Best for homepage hero sections
A rotating hero slider showcasing your featured or most recent properties.
- Shows featured listings first, then most recent
- Click a property to view full details inline
- PostMessage API handles share links and height resize
Listings Grid Mode
Best for dedicated listings pages
Full listing page with search, filters, multiple view modes, and pagination.
- Built-in search and property type filters
- Grid, List, Map, and Map+Grid view modes
- In-iframe property detail with back navigation
PostMessage API
cre-listings-resize -- iframe reports content height for auto-resize
cre-nav-property -- tracks which property the user is viewing (for URL sync)
cre-copy-link -- copies share URL to clipboard via parent window
cre-share-email -- opens mailto: link with property details in parent window
cre-init -- sent from parent to iframe on load with optional deep-link propertyId
Optionally set a "Branded Share Link" URL in the Share panel. When configured, all share links from the embed will use your domain (e.g., yoursite.com/listings?property=123) instead of CREBuilder.

Document Sharing
Collaborate with team members on documents
Share documents with team members to enable collaboration. Click "Share" on any document card from the Dashboard to open the sharing modal. Toggle team members on or off as collaborators.

How Sharing Works
- 1
Open the Share modal
Click "Share" on any document card from the Dashboard.
- 2
Toggle team members as collaborators
Each team member gets a toggle switch. Flip it on to grant editor access.
- 3
Collaborators can view and edit
Shared team members see the document in their own Documents page and can edit all content.
- 4
Remove access anytime
Toggle the switch off to revoke a team member's access to the document.
The shared count badge on document cards shows how many team members currently have access. Company administrators can view all team documents regardless of sharing settings.
Document Transfer
Transfer ownership of a document to another team member
When a listing changes hands within your brokerage, you can transfer full ownership of a document to another team member. The original owner automatically becomes an editor collaborator so they retain access.
Original Owner
Becomes editor
New Owner
Full control
- 1
Select a document to transfer
Available from the document actions menu for documents you own.
- 2
Choose the new owner
Pick a team member from the dropdown list.
- 3
Contact info re-snapshots
The Brokerage Contact Us page updates to show the new owner's details.
- 4
Original owner becomes editor
You automatically get editor collaborator access so you can still view and edit.
Document transfer is useful when a broker leaves the firm or when a listing is reassigned. The new owner gets full control including the ability to export PDFs and manage sharing.
Confidentiality Pages
Legal disclaimers for Offering Memorandums
Confidentiality agreements are standard practice in commercial real estate to protect sensitive financial data. CREBuilder includes this as a dedicated wizard step for Offering Memorandums. The confidentiality page renders before the cover page in the final PDF.
Features
- 1
Choose a built-in template
Pre-written confidentiality agreement language with your company name auto-populated.
- 2
Or write custom text
Full rich text editor for custom legal language, disclaimers, and terms.
- 3
Save as your own template
Save your custom text as a reusable template. Set one as the default for new documents.
- 4
Auto-saves as you type
Content saves automatically after 3 seconds of inactivity -- no save button needed.
Team administrators can lock the confidentiality agreement for the entire company. When locked, team members see a read-only view with a notice to contact their admin for changes.
